FILE - Diamond Sharpener

The EZE LAP DIAMOND SHARPENER is built with superior materials and technology, lasts for a very long time, and is ideal for tools of all descriptions. We've chosen the medium grit model and believe this is enough for sharpening up most secateurs, snips, hedge shears and even loppers. Please note: Eze Lap Diamond Files are not designed to sharpen pruning saws (see more information below on sharpening saws).

Keep your blades sharp for maximum results and sharp blades make your job a lot easier. On most blades you will see a bevel (the angle that ends at the sharp edge), that's the edge that needs to be sharpened. Bypass type tools will only have a bevel on one side of the blade. Anvil type tools will have a bevel on both sides of the blade. We recommend you give 9 - 10 strokes with your sharpener along each bevel which will bring your edge back quickly and effectively.

It is important to remember however, the diamond sharpener will not work at its best if your blades are dirty or rusty. Keep your tools clean and dry and then give them a quick sharpen when you're ready to use them again.
